Laura is completing her first term on Spokane Valley City Council. We have made great progress in improving public safety by increasing our police force, protecting children from exposure to methamphetamine or fentanyl, and shutting down trafficking by illicit massage parlors. We have completed major road projects to increase safety and traffic flow by separating the railroad traffic from vehicles/pedestrians and improve product transport for our businesses. The exciting new cross-country track will bring in tournaments, events and people from throughout the region to enjoy our restaurants and stay in our hotels. Many good things have been happening. We need to continue to build on our successes.
